Selangor Darul Ehsan or Selangor for short is located in the middle of Peninsular Malaysia on the west coast and surrounds the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. The state is also bordered by Perak to the north, Pahang to the east, Negeri Sembilan to the south and the Straits of Malacca to the west.
